I saw this on twitter a couple days ago. I was not even aware of an X-Files Season 10 which aired in 2016. 🤣
I'm watching the show as we speak. There's mention of the 9/11 "false flag" in connection with aliens in the first episode. Could this be an elaborate smoke screen to keep us all confused and dumbed down?
All this dark conspiracy stuff is so much more relevant today than in the 90s when the X-Files aired, competing with Seinfeld for ratings.
Also it's worth noting that the writer, Chris Carter, has a history of writing prescient scripts - eg the "Lone Gunmen" series - anyone remember that?
Having watched one and a half episodes I can confirm that it is all pretty silly. It seems like they threw in a hodge podge of recent conspiracy memes to spice up the script.
I was going to ask the question, is this ACTUALLY from 20 years ago or was it from the more recently created X-Files.
And which episode(s) is it / are these scenes from, as I'd like to judge it myself rather than based on tiny snippets put together.
