CENSORSHIP: THE AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL DAILY    

My subscriber comment - in response the story on Israel headed ‘We’ll strike you anywhere’, Bibi warns Hamas (11 September 2025) was rejected by The Australian newspaper.   

The story was about the Israeli escalation of their aggression, this time by bombing in Qatar that hosts a large U.S. military base. 

Read my comment (italics) and you will understand why they do this.  

At what point does Israel cross a "red line" with it's agression in the Middle East? From a political realist viewpoint, Israel has impunity because it is nuclear-armed and is backed by a nuclear-armed superpower being the United States of America with which Australia has a military alliance namely ANZUS.

The only thing that will stop Israeli impunity is nuclear deterrance. Is it time for Russia or China or Pakistan to supply Iran with nuclear warheads for its fleet of ballistic missiles?  In this way there will be nuclear deterrance in the Middle East, that will bring order.   Either that, or Donald Trump cuts funding to the Israeli military machine, bringing order and peace to the Middle East and him receiveing the Nobel Peace Prize. Slim chance that both mechanisms for peace and order will happen. The lesson from history was that the partition of the British Mandate of Palestine 80 years ago, and handing half the territory to European refugees - pushing out 750,000 indigenous Arabs - was a monumental mistake of history, as evidenced by what we are seeing today in Gaza.

The problem is exacerbated by lack of leadership on the Arab nationalist side.  If they had a leader like Ho Chi Minh, we would have seen the fall of Tel Aviv by now, just as we saw the fall of Saigon in April 1975, in a decisive defeat of US imperialism.
