Over the past few years, since covid, I have found myself increasingly in agreement with David Icke on practically everything.
People evolve and change over time, and when facts change I change my position accordingly.
I saw how Icke fell out with Alex Jones and the MAGA crowd, correctly calling out the liars and shills. I respected that, because I know that in doing so he reduced his reach and probably forfeited alot of money.
I noted his deeply sceptical and cynical view of Elon Musk and in the beginning I thought he was just salty and resentlful of the man's wealth. I was optimistic about Musk for a while, but after October 7 2023 it suddenly became clear that Musk is untrustworthy on the most important issues of our time.
Musk's pivot towards the ideology of transhumanism was the end for me. I find his agenda with AI horrifying and I note that he has sucked in the majority of libertarians and "free thinkers" into his warped vision of the future.
On the topic of AI I'm squarely in agreement with Mr. Icke and I respect that he has really stuck his neck out on this topic.

I know that Icke sees religion generaly as some kind of elite scam and of course he has his own mystical metaphysical world view which involves trans-dimensional entities. I'm not on the same page in that regard, but I'm willing to live and let live if he can be a voice of sanity against the concept of humans merging with AI.
