I believe that something very wrong is happening here and we don't know how to correctly see it. It's a bit like when a tsunami is approaching and people just stand there staring at it because nothing in their life experience has prepared them for this moment. They don't recognize the threat.
It looks like Spotify is aggressively promoting AI music without clearly labelling it.
What does that mean? How do we correctly evaluate this phenomenon? We are stumped. We don't get it. We just stand and stare.
Just as with the approaching tsunami there will ultimately be a moment of impact, and in that moment we will suddenly (too late) understand the nature of the threat.
