😬 I'm going to stick my neck out and make a prediction. I think this war will be over very soon, within 3 days. I believe that a deal has already been struck between the Trump administration and a new power block within Iran. 😵
The current Iranian administration has no allies. They are completely isolated on the world stage. This is not WWIII.
Once the deal is announced Trump will instantly flip into "Make Iran Great Again" (MIGA) mode and flood the country with aid.
This is counter-intuitive wishful thinking but there's a decent chance this could actually happen.
My deep instinct tells me that Iran's theocratic regime has, from the start, been manipulated by foreign intelligence assets. The 1979 Iranian revolution was in a sense a color revolution assisted by the CIA.Â
1979 was the year the Soviets invaded Afghanistan. Communism was the biggest geo-political threat. The CIA chose to empower radical Islam around that time and fundamentalist Iran was part of same project that led to the creation of Al Quaeda.
All the world's a stage, and nation states are but puppets who strut and fret their hour upon the stage and then are torn down by the same forces that gave birth to them.

People say America fails all the time because it's a fashionable and it's cool to hate an Empire. But the fact is they've been astonishingly successful.
It's impossible to run an empire without the odd quagmire. The British Empire had a quagmire when the American Revolution happened, but they lasted another 200 years.
I think Trump will declare victory and retreat and leave the quagmire for his successor to handle.
