Thailand is currently facing widespread flooding that has impacted everything from airports to submerged vehicles. Tragically, there have also been fatalities caused by electric shock resulting from current leaking into the floodwaters. Consequently, traveling here at this time may prove inconvenient; you might face difficulties finding food as people rush to stockpile supplies, while many markets cannot operate normally and some restaurants remain closed. I would therefore recommend planning your visit for the New Year holidays instead. That would be an excellent opportunity to support Thailand, as domestic funds are currently running low due to the massive expenditure required for flood relief and assistance efforts across the country.
