A new strain of covid or cover for a new vaccine?

There's been a deluge of news about a supposedly new strain of the deadly 'rona, just as vaccines are being rolled out.
Could this be a way of disguising the side effects of the experimental vaccine?
This is pure speculation, and probably doesn't warrant a lead story, but it is at least an original thought, which I place here for your consideration.

I just think its a new case of casedemic at P.O.S. Because even the sheep are noticing there is no deaths.

“The side effects which people are claiming to be from the vaccine are actually side effects of the new strain of the virus. Get the vaccine now to provide partial immunity to the new, more serious mutation”.
