Elon Musk recently tweeted that he thinks civilization is on the brink of collapse, and he believes it's vitally necessary for Trump to win the next election in order to avert disaster.

It is a little surprising that Musk would make such an extreme statement. We are accustomed to hearing such statements from conspiracy theorists and down at heel intellectuals. We don't typically hear this from the super-rich, who have a vested interest in propping up the established order. It may be that Musk, even with his vast wealth, feels threatened. If Musk feels threatened then imagine how much worse it will be for the average human if his fears are borne out.

The way I see it, civilizational collapse well and truly began in 2020 with the onset of the global insanity of the fake pandemic. Let's remember that this was a worldwide phenomenon, and those who drove the most deranged narratives at that time have never recanted their views, and the same power structures that controlled the world then, control the world now.

Let's remember people being welded into their apartments in China. Let's remember the torture rituals which were performed around the globe.

People were terrorized in the name of public health, but the goal was not health. The goal was compliance for the sake of compliance. It was a gruesome totemic cult. 

Other bizarre rituals included putting school children in pods. Toddlers were forced to wear masks. Countries all over the world closed their borders. People were denied the right to work or run their businesses. A person was deemed "sick" due to a test result and recorded as a case even if they never experienced symptoms.

The insanity which emerged in 2020 has not been cured. It's just gone back into a dormant state. 

If the collapse of civilization has already begun, then we should expect another bout of mass insanity soon, and it will probably be worse than last time.

Mass hysteria can project itself into many different forms.  Next time, it may not be about infectious diseases.  It might be about climate change. It might be about some new terror threat. It might be Trump derangement syndrome.

As I see it the instability is so extreme that it's impossible to realistically predict what might happen. It could well be that nothing happens, at least in the short term. A Trump win in the 2024 election could trigger unrest. A Trump loss in the 2024 election could trigger unrest.

We've already seen a failed assassination attempt. That could have been the trigger for unrest had the bullet reached its target. The next thing that happens could well be an extreme terror incident, something that would create shock and awe like 9/11.

Or perhaps nothing will happen.
