Yes Chris, and little has changed from then until now. Personally, we still find it hard to get the old paradigm out of our mind when talking about sickness. However, the new one makes more sense, as articulated by Tom Cowan, Dr Andy Kaufman, Dr Stephan Lanka and most recently trauma surgeon Dr. Lorraine Day

Consider this, The Germ Theory originated in mid 1800's. The first postulate was that human body is sterile, and the pathogens attack us from outside....

I have taken an interest in this field for some time Geoff and things seem to add up correctly. It helps to have this information and different way of thinkng behind you when diagnosing an illness. If one bares in mind that the two foremost things that make us sick are toxins in the body and starvation; and starvation includes eating junk food which amounts to lack of nutrition long term = starvation.

The other useful thing to bare in mind is that contagion has never been proven; ever. The snot form a sick person will not make a healthy person sick; so much for the virus germ theory.

And, a contagious virus has never been isolated; ever. People say it has, but reading the likes of Dr Stefan Lanka here shows that what they do is flat out non-science; and no controls are carried out ie did the tissue on the medium die without the suspected viral material being added (which is always unpuriefied and mixed with the likes of bovine fetal tissue, monkey kidney tissue and milk? A high school science class could do better.
