FIFTH ESTATE PRESS IS THE SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM FOR CITIZEN JOURNALISTS
This video contains the following revolutionary words spoken by Mario Savio at the University of California, Berkeley, on December 2, 1964:
There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart that you can't take part! You can't even passively take part! And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus - and you've got to make it stop! And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it - that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!
This speech seems oddly relevant in 2020, at a time when the government/corporate machine has taken control of our lives to a degree never even envisaged in 1964.
We have to take the power back and we have to stop their disinformation machine, and the best way to achieve that is by empowering ourselves to use technology independent of big tech platforms.

Geoff, I've listened to the entire speech by Savio on that day and it is extremely enlightening. This was part of the "free speech" movement at the University of California, Berkeley. These people had NOTHING in common with the contemporary radical left who are actually against free speech.
Thanks Geoff, glad you liked it.
