Ultimate purpose of life is a good start, but also to raise the awareness that we are in a spiritual battle, something of which most people are unaware. People do state that satanic things are happening ie they can discern evil, but their knowledge takes them no further. Hence the need for "God bothering", otherwise known as balanced explanation from the book of books, whose sale figures surpass the sales of any other book...

I'd like to know how to follow the path of God.

There are countless ideas presented which state we must follow what the Government says to be truly Christian, providing doing so does not stop us from worshiping God.

If God created man, then man created something, why are we following/obeying what man created?

I'm thinking along the lines of technology here. Big machines drilling into Gods Earth. Pesticides and other chemicals killing Gods flora and fauna, etc. etc.

It seems to me the way to truly respect God and his creations is to abandon a lot of the current technology. Continuing to use destructive technology and continuing to purchase products made in slave labour camps from China, etc. in my opinion is being defiant to God. Are you one of these people and if not, how have you successfully removed yourself from the evil system to ensure your salvation because the way I see it, reading the Bible and going to Church is not enough. Obeying the 10 commandments does not happen in the current system.

Thou shall not steal?

Child slave labour is a form of stealing. It is elites using slavery to create (steal) wealth from the poor to give to themselves and anybody who purchases products made from this are in fact supporting the theft. But what if that's all that is available? Sorry, but a truly dedicated worshiper of God should take action and create their own products to make the world better.

Thou shall not lie?

Every moment you encounter somebody speaking of Critical Race Theory or speaking of the "deadly" Coronavirus and you don't speak the truth and instead go along with what they are saying because it is more comfortable to do so, you are breaking this commandment.

Thou shall have no other idols?

Do you recognise celebrities? Do you give great attention and respect to certain experts whom you have never met? Are you a hard core fan of a sports team? Are you addicted to a TV program?

I don't know, I think that's all borderline idol worshiping.

The thing about Christianity is that it is ultimately about salvation, and this is missing in populist atheistic mythology like the above.

Salvation is also missing in the entire social discourse today from government, media and science. Human beings are seemingly nothing more than "bags of meat", to be injected and inspected.

The idea that we have an immortal soul, that suffering has a purpose, that existence itself has a meaning... this is completely foreign to the current zeitgeist.

Humans have become lab rats. Is this all foretold in the Book of Revelation?

You have got it right Winston, the Bible teaches salvation; from sin, the offences against a just God, for which one day we will have to pay. This is the part that offends man's soul; his accountability to God. This is the first hurdle that mankind has to get over. Our natural form disagrees with this, aided by satan. Satan didn't want to he subservient to God, and neither does man. Exactly how the first created humans, Adam and Eve were influenced.

Atheism has been around a while. That's why God chose Abraham to eventually form the nation of Israel, and look how wrong that has ended up. But God will soon return and put all to rights, forever. The modern social discourse to me shows a need of salvation from it all. It's a very bleak future that we currently see mapped out for mankind.

Salvation is also on an individual basis, made available through the perfect blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the only payment acceptable to God for the sins of mankind, to whosoever will accept it. If one does accept Jesus payment, we are saved from the kingdom of this world, satan's kingdom, into the Kingdom of God. Out final destination is then changed from eternity in damnation to eternity in glory.

My intention here is to herald this eternal hope that believers have; to share it with those whom we consort with in this life; it's gain for others, not gain for ourselves. Humankind has been hijacked by the evil being of satan, who now rules and is worshiped in invisible form, but who is soon to rule on earth in visible form, with all the restrictions that are currently talked about, and where vaccine passports will be replaced with his identification on hand or forehead, the mark of the beast. This is spoken of in Revelation, as well as the way God will deal with and overcoming it all. And importantly, believers are taken out of this era into Heaven, but only for 7 years, whereafter we come back to life in peace on this earth for 1,000 years with Godly, just government, as we all hope for today. We are all sick of the evil mess that is world government today. We have been offered the perfect existence we all yearn for and it's through Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, people decline to humble themselves and greatfully accept this chance of wonder and beauty offered by God to humans on earth, who He created, and it's by belief and faith.

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!"

Matt 23:37

The above verse is Jesus talking of Israel. I see the same thing apply today, where God calls to His creation begging them to come to Him, but sadly, they will not....

The path of God is more spiritual than physical. When we connect with Him spiritually, He directs us through His Spirit and His Word as to how we conduct ourselves on earth. Most of the world doesn't have this spiritual connection and greed takes over so that man feels he has the right to rule and rape the earth rather than having dominion over it. The path of God is one of humility rather than one of works. If I buy a garment made in China, according to your outline above, makes me complicit with child slave labour. Not my intent at all.

As I said in my reply to Winston, salvation is attained by believing and accepting the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for my sin, not by my works or trying to correct all the wrong doings of society. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost" Titus 3:5

Certainly not by attending church or reading the bible; these are meant to help lead us to salvation in Jesus Christ.

And mate, I agree with the rest of what you said regarding idols and lying. I am not into any of these things by default. It's the reason I speak out about Biblical issues here and elsewhere; it's because I try and bring truth and light into the debate for this world to see. You have a good heart Rev; are you saved by the Biblical definition of salvation? After this first step, the rest follows, as God leads us... There is so much good to be done in this life and examples to be left for others to see. But unless God is in it, it will get drowned in the noise of society. It starts with evangelism, then other worthwhile things follow. Sadly man wants to do it any other way other than that outlined in the scriptures...

I just want to be clear; my questions and comments are not a means of discrediting/besmirching Christianity. I believe we need more Christianity in our society. There is much to learn and gain from a development and family/community structure perspective from learning and properly understanding Biblical teachings. The biggest issue is to me there is so much misinformation or misunderstood information, a lot of the time purposefully orchestrated by those with agendas.

But also, I fear at least some of the ideas presented are not very inviting/enticing for potential newcomers.

Take for example what you said:

This to me sounds like God is being referred to in a physical form. If this is an incorrect understanding, then it should be worded more accurately. E.g. God will soon return to our souls/bodies/minds/hearts. I get the impression this is not the intended meaning though since God is always referred to as a He/Him, a characteristic of a living, breathing creature. And to take it further, not just any creature but that of man, since Gods son was a man and since the word is that God created man in his image.

I don't have an issue with God being some form of spirit or some form of physics or being a physical manifestation of Truth, Love, Honour, Integrity, Respect, etc. But the notion that God is a human man feels very egotistical to me. For lack of a better way to describe it, it seems like a joke and a joke which has assisted in keeping me away from the Bible for much of my life.

Right now, I have three children and I'm wanting to teach them Biblical virtues. I'm strongly considered teaching them to pray and to give thanks in a Biblical style manner. But should I tell them to get on their knees and pray, how do I explain what they are praying to, without saying something like a man in the sky. In their innocence, they could think I'm talking about Santa Clause.
