A Special Report by Winston Smith 😎

I started writing this article without deeply investigating the allegations against Russell Brand. My initial impulse was to downplay this as purely a black propaganda exercise aimed at eroding Brand's reputation. As I see it now, that is still a part of the picture, but after watching the interviews contained in Channel 4's "Russell Brand: In Plain Sight" documentary, I can't hold with the belief that these allegations are totally without a factual basis.

The TV show can be found at this link:
https://www.channel4.com/programmes/russell-brand-in-plain-sight-dispatches

If you aren't able to log in to Channel 4, you can quite easily find the whole thing on torrent streaming sites, and it's also up on Bitchute and Youtube.

I feel disadvantaged in my comprehension of this affair by the fact that I knew nothing about Brand's TV career prior to becoming an internet celebrity. I haven't watched TV since the 90s, and was totally unaware until today that Brand was the host of the "Big Brother" reality TV show in the UK. Now that I know this, it's obvious that a person with his intensity and narcissistic traits would have been likely to have pushed boundaries with women.

Another thing I was not fully aware of was the level of public recognition that Brand has in the UK. This makes him a high level threat to the establishment and explains why they would go to such great lengths to take him down. He has influence, and is dangerous. This is evidenced by the fact that the government actually put out an official response to this documentary hit-piece, describing the sexual assault allegations as ‘very serious and concerning.’

At the time of writing no criminal charges have been laid, but this could change very quickly as the "me too" allegations start rolling in. Based on watching the documentary I think it is quite likely that he will at some point get charged with a crime, and I think it's quite possible that he is guilty of sexual offences as defined in contemporary law.

One of the more bizarre aspects of this "scandal" is that most of the behaviours of which he is accused, like "sex addiction", were widely known at the time and were admitted by Brand himself. In some ways the Channel 4 documentary is just dredging history to put a new spin on information which was widely known.

There are however, some specific allegations in the show which go beyond what was already known and which, if true, could at the very least tarnish his reputation permanently and seriously undermine the work he did over the past 3 years in bringing truth to power over medical tyranny and the esablishment lies about covid, lockdowns, masks and vaccines.

I think I may have something in common with others who started paying attention to Brand in recent years in that I knew absolutely nothing about his prior fame as a raging, blatant and unashamed sex addict. His history was always likely to catch up with him if he ever tried to do something serious and become an activist of any kind. I didn't know and I didn't care, but the truth is that this part of his life was always going to be a ticking time bomb which could blow up in his face at any time.

I'm quite sure that the main goal of those who orchestrated this media hit piece is simply to dethrone him from his current status as a principled citizen journalist and collapse his popularity. I think they will be satisfied with that outcome, and I think that outcome is the most likely one. The rape allegations are pretty serious, but these purported victims have remained anonymous.

This documentary "hit-piece" was a collaboration between Channel 4 and the Sunday Times. It was dramatic and thrilling to watch and used paid actors for some parts. The whole show was done to a very high technical level and would have cost millions to produce. The last clip shows Brand's refutation of the claims made in the movie from his podcast show, a few days before it was released. It would seem that they approached him with claims from the show before it was released to get his response with the plan of including that in the final movie.

The show ends with a call to action and an email address for viewers to contact the producers, presumably to pile on new allegations.

As a hit-piece I believe this will be very successful. I think that Russell Brand's growth phase as a principled citizen journalist is possibly at an end. In the bigger picture, this will have zero impact on our collective march towards truth and justice. I feel sorry for Brand on one level, but on another level I know that this is something he probably saw coming and planned for, and will not suffer too greatly from.

I do hope that he fights this publicly on his show, rather than hiding behind lawyers. If he manages to come clean on some of the allegations it will vastly increase his credibility and could even catapult him to new levels of popularity. He needs to admit some guilt and show some contrition. He will be swiftly forgiven.

The most important take away for me is that we should never stop telling truth to power, and never let the powerful silence us through threats and blackmail.

Having looked more closely at the allegations.
It's still hard to speak to the 'anonymous' claims, which could be entirely fictitious.
The main allegation on the other hand, seems like it could be legit.
However, the media is portraying Brand like a Rape Monster. Personally, I think there's a big difference between a Callous random rapist and a rapist who rapes during a consensual relationship involving drugs and addiction. I'm not trying to say that rape is ok in that situation, however the woman who was involved with Brand seemed to be in a relationship of sorts with him. Relationship in the sense that she was seeing him (and having sex with him) regularly, whilst no doubt aware of his personal problems. Was he using drugs at the time? Possibly. Was he addicted to sex at the time? Probably.
He's a confessed drug and sex addict. And the woman chose to be consentually involved with him. That's very different to a man luring or cornering a woman on the street and raping them (which is the impression I get when I read the headlines - maybe it's just me who sees rapists like this??).

The point is still very valid though that Brand admitted this is what he was like all that time ago (10+ years ago). During that time, the Left loved him. He was too blind by his addictions to be a decent person. What's sad is he has gotten clean and in getting clean he's come to realise what a fool and tool of the Left he was for all those years. And now to reward him for getting clean, he's being pursued and attacked, not actually because of what he did but because he doesn't agree with the Globalist Scums, including the MSM.

He did some wrong things in the past, very wrong things. But he's a hero for turning his life around. He should be celebrated for the man he is today, not attacked for the man he used to be. Should there be consequences? Well, it would be just for their to be consequences, however it has with absolute certainty been blown out of proportion PURELY based on his political views and has nothing to do with what he actually did.

Just look at how the fake news media are trying everything to demonise Brand. The headline of this article clearly makes it look like Brand himself is suggesting consent laws change, implying it as a way around the crimes he is being accused of.In reality, has he been involved in the discussion at all??And additionally, have you ever seen an image or video of Brand prior to the last couple of weeks where he is made out to look so viscous. It's for reasons like this that if I were dictator, lies and misrepresentations such as these would be punishable by the highest degree possible. A society of lies is no society at all.

Possible context to consider - and the verdicts surrounding Tate.
I.e. whatever happens to Tate, you would expect far less to happen to Brand:

Piers Morgan is such a snake... during this group duscussion he slips in the derisive term "conspiracy theory" as a label for any suggestion that Brand is being taken down deliberately by his enemies.

The black woman makes some good points nonetheless.

Piers Morgan Furiously Debates Russell Brand Allegations With Ava Santina

Piers Morgan delivers a monologue giving his take on the allegations made against comedian and YouTuber Russell Brand, stating that although the accusations are "shocking" people shouldn't presume he is guilty without a proper investigation. Piers is then joined by comedian Samantha Pressdee, who says she was once involved with Brand and saw no evidence of him being a predator, and TalkTV contributors Ava Santina and Esther Krakue, to debate presumption of guilt and whether accusers should remain anonymous. Russell Brand released the following statement on his channel: "Now, this isn't the usual type of video we make on this channel where we critique, attack and undermine the news in all its corruption because in this story, I am the news. I've received two extremely disturbing letters or a letter and an email. One from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks, as well as some pretty stupid stuff like …

Thanks for putting this opinion together Winston. I can trust your judgement, so it will save me spending precious time watching the documentaries etc. in order make sense of this latest “me too” takedown.     I agree that hiding behind lawyers would gain nothing in this PR exercise except enrichment of the lawyers.   Since he’s a standup comedian like Tucker Carlson- it is best he fights this in the court of public opinion.   He’s got a head start because he’s got a captive audience of millions.   And the gift of the gab to boot.  The moral of this story is that if you’re a celebrity and plan to speak truth to power, you’d better be sure that you’ve got no sexual misconduct in the cupboard.   Think Julian Assange, George Pell, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump.
