Who is Tucker Carlson?

Who is Tucker Carlson?

Interview with Hereward Fenton, CEO of 5EP.

I want to give you a few thoughts, based on my experience, knowledge, insights and empathy.

Tucker became the host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” in 2016. He was terminated by Fox News in April 2023.

It’s important to note that Tucker is a Christian and he credits his wife to whom he’s been married for 30 years for his religious faith. He has four children.

This is a man who has risen through conventional mainstream media to become the most popular news show host in the United States. As he progressed to reach that pinnacle of achievement, his character evolved and I think that is something that we need to focus on to try and understand, because he started out being a mostly conventional conservative news personality, but over time he became almost a revolutionary. He became someone who challenged the establishment, from a position of great influence as the host of the top-rated news show in the United States. This caused extreme polarization because even though he is very popular there’s still a vast number of people who oppose what he stands for. These people continually smear him and try to destroy him at every opportunity. Now, since he has been terminated by Fox News, his enemies are re-grouping and rejoicing.

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, one of the stars of the left in America, said “de-platforming works” in relation to his sudden departure.

People who are glad Tucker was kicked off Fox News think of themselves as the caring people of the left – people who care about the poor, the disadvantaged and the environment. These people hate Tucker Carlson and cannot see any good in him whatsoever. That's because the world has become polarized into extremely rigid forms of thinking. They can’t see how important it is that he advocates for free speech, for questioning the power and the influence of mega corporations or the logic of US militarism. They can only see things in a certain way which is formed by propaganda and brainwashing. For them, Tucker represents a class of people who are “deplorable” – selfish, bigoted homophobic and racist. This delusional belief, formed by propaganda, has made this group of people very dangerous to the rest of humanity.

These deluded people provide support for problematic cultural transformation in the West, including the radical redefining of gender and “zero carbon” mandates, but at a deeper level they really act as proxies for centralized, tyrannical power. These people are emotionally malleable and can be triggered to support the most outrageous infringements on civil liberties. These were the people who aggressively supported the most egregious policies of the pandemic period, such as banning travel, preventing people from working, forced masking and “lockdowns” – a term previously only used in prisons as a measure for subduing rioters. They eagerly embraced mandatory vaccination and social exclusion for those who refused to comply. Today they support foreign policy which appears to be aimed at triggering world war.

These people are dangerous.

I’m not joking when I say these people are dangerous. They are people who have been possessed, taken over, seduced by evil. I’m using very primitive, simplified language here, but it is appropriate to the situation. This phenomenon has occurred in the past. It happened in the first half of the 20th century in Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. It happened in Russia under Stalin, and it happened in Cambodia under Pol Pot.

People can become psychopathic on a mass scale. Tucker Carlson recognizes this as a fact. I'm just an obscure voice on the internet but what I'm saying to you here - what I just told you - is exactly what Tucker Carlson has been trying to tell people. I think he began to realize it gradually. I don't think he was fully aware of it until a couple of years ago. I think he was still within the mainstream at that time, even though he was a heavy critic of many of the things that were happening on both sides of politics, he still counted himself as part of the establishment.

At the beginning of the covid pandemic Tucker supported strict public health measures put in place by the Trump administration. He supported Anthony Fauci and the covid task force appointed by Trump, but his eyes were open. He didn't listen to information from one source. He noticed that big companies and influencers like Bill Gates were controlling the narrative about the covid pandemic, and he noticed that they were lying much of the time. He started looking at alternative viewpoints about covid treatments and the efficacy of masks.  When the covid vaccine rollout started he looked at data that showed massive numbers of adverse event reports from the vaccines. He questioned the integrity of Anthony Fauci, head of NIAID and leader of the government task force. He looked at evidence that covid was released in a lab leak in Wuhan, China.

The above ran against the agenda of immensely powerful corporations, allied with the government, but Tucker was the top news guy in America and his nightly diatribes were having a negative effect on their influence. This gradually began to be a problem for Rupert Murdoch, the owner of a vast news and entertainment conglomerate which includes Fox.

Murdoch had wanted to stop Tucker Carlson from 2020, but he couldn't make it happen because Tucker was just too popular. Tucker was single-handedly saving Fox News as a network, because cable news has been eroded by the internet for a long time. Social media has eaten away at the viewership of large cable networks, but because of the authenticity of Tucker Carlson, because of his charisma and what seems to be the honesty of the man, people kept turning on their TVs to Fox News at prime time, every day.

Over time, Tucker has become increasingly adversarial towards his bosses and the people who pay his salary, as well as the establishment which controls Fox News. They were willing to accept him as a sharp barb against the Democrats and Joe Biden, and they let him say almost anything on that topic without worrying about it, but increasingly because of his of his fixation on important matters like the safety of vaccines he became intolerable to them.

He eventually turned on his own company (largely owned by big Pharma) which had forced people to get vaccinated and was carrying advertising for the vaccines which he knew were harming people. The final straw came when he interviewed the nephew of John F. Kennedy, the son of Robert F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, a man who has been passionate about vaccine concerns for decades, who has written a scathing book about Anthony Fauci. Tucker sat down with him for a long interview, and they talked about the vaccine lies. Tucker was completely on board with RFK Jr.’s analysis. This is the point at which Rupert Murdoch, the 92-year-old owner of the Fox Network and News Corp, said: “Okay guys this boy’s gotta go. I don't care if we lose a billion dollars.”

Murdoch shot himself in the foot by firing Tucker. Fox will not recover from this, because Tucker is indeed more popular than Fox itself.

Fox News is finished without Tucker.

Tucker now represents the people. He is the voice of the people. I don't know how he will appear in future, whether as an independent podcaster or perhaps allied with Elon Musk. Perhaps he will run for President. Anything could happen. As he says, this is a battle - a spiritual battle. It's a spiritual battle of those who follow God against those who have been possessed by the Devil. That sounds scary and oversimplified, but that is how a lot of people are beginning to see it.

There are many people who have woken up to understand that they're in a spiritual struggle. Tucker is just one.

We are in this fight, and we will never stop!

I don't say to you, “ooh Tucker is my hero, everything he says is right”. I disagree with him on quite a few issues, but these take second place to the struggle that he has identified with, and I can forgive everything else.

These are just random thoughts. I think we're at the beginning of something that's going to be powerful in the world in the next few years. I look forward to collaborating with you as we fight for the truth everywhere.

Please come over to 5EP and sign up if you have not already because we are in this fight, and we will never stop. Thank you!
