Removing 'unexplainable anomalies' in science

Removing 'unexplainable anomalies' in science

#health #covid-19 #vaccines #science #germ-vs-terrain-theory

I've been finding it very difficult over the last week to listen to much of anything.

Here's the thing. I started my awakening journey in terms of biology and physics around 2009. My GP... yes, my GP of all people (he's a great man) recommended I listen to Bruce Lipton's Biology of Belief / Where Mind and Matter Meet. I can't recommend this enough as a vital starting point for everyone to realise how there is much more to our body chemistry and our connection to the world and each other than what the very simple 'one cure for one disease' pharmaceutical approach presents.

Bruce Lipton got labelled a 'quack' back then. These days, a lot more people are awake to what this really means. It means the establishment were doing their best to cancel him from being heard. Anything which can put in question their false narrative needs to be cancelled according to them. Now I'm not saying Bruce Lipton has the 100% truth, 100% of the time; nobody does. But here's the key to realise. There are certain anomalies which 'settled science' can't explain. Such anomalies are simply disregarded or suppressed because the establishment doesn't want the public thinking about those things (or thinking for themselves for that matter). Yet when you allow the field of science to be expanded into alternative territories (such as Epigenetics and Fractal Geometry as Dr. Lipton brought to light), at least some of these anomalies are able to be explained. Keep that in mind, as that is the purpose of every progression thereafter - finding discoveries which are able to better explain or at least hypothesize the so called 'unexplainable anomalies' which collectively we pretend don't exist.

From Bruce Lipton I moved to people like Rupert Sheldrake (Morphic Resonance), Gregg Braden (The power of Prayer) & the Scientist (I forget his name) who presented the research on water molecules crystallizing as ice in different shapes based upon how people spoke to the water... - so presenting more anomalies which 'science' cannot explain and as a result each of these researchers are labelled 'quacks' or similar to try to cancel and suppress them from being heard by anybody.

After that, my journey moved to all sort of economics and financial and political and environmental and educational areas, among other things. There was a long delay and I kind of didn't expand on my biological understandings until recently thanks to the Covid-19 fraud of the past year and a half.

Recently I have very much appreciated the research and the speaking out of various experts, I sincerely hope many of you have heard of such as:

Bret Weinstein
Dolores Cahill
Geert Vanden Bossche
Jay Bhattacharya
John Ioannidis
Knut Wittkowski
Michael Yeadon
Peter McCullough
Robert Malone
Ryan Cole
Scott Jensen
Simone Gold

among many, many more (literally dozens and dozens more - I have a comprehensive list).

All of whom have been previously considered professionals and then seemingly overnight became "conspiracy theorists", the new term being used instead of "Quack" in an attempt to cancel them.

I've loved listening to all of the above but have over the course of a lengthy year of back and forth in my own head, umming and ahhing and saying 'no it can't be' over and over again come to realise that as amazing and honourable as all of those people are, their entire research and findings is based in false science which needs to be rectified.

Anytime I now here discussions about 'gain of function research' and about T-Cell immunity and about 'everyone will "catch" the virus' and 'waning vaccine immunity' I now have to cringe because none of these people actually realise what they are talking about. Their mathematical equation is wrong from the start. When you're working with 2+2 =5 as a basis of truth, you will never be able to come up with any definitive conclusions which everybody can agree on.

So where have they gone wrong. The fallacy is in Germ/Contagion theory and the idea that so called 'viruses' cause disease and can be 'spread'. Neither of these things have EVER been proven and yet the entire field of virology (and therefore a large portion of modern medicine and pharmacology) is based on this notion being 100% true.

Seeking answers to questions about things ('viruses') which are not proven to exist, let alone proven to cause disease amounts to a never ending chase of one's own tail, all the while the scam continues.
It is far too difficult for me to explain but if you want your mind opened to a new paradigm which better explains a lot more than what the worlds current mindset does then these are the people to listen to:

Sam & Mark Bailey

Tom Cowan

Stefan Lanka

Melissa Sell

Dawn Lester

David Parker

Robert Young

Andy Kaufman

Lee Merritt and just a few others

Below is a list also of videos/podcasts to listen to in (in my opinion) the best order to learn. There were nine originally but I keep adding more. If you want to just go all out and watch the big one straight off the bat, by all means, I have (after edit on 29/08 with new video released in June 2022) put it right at the start, otherwise if you have time to watch everything else, I don't think you'll regret it.

If you've not listened to Bruce Liptons 'Where Mind and Matter Meet' yet, then I do recommend that as a starting point, even if it doesn't exactly align with the main topics we're talking about - at the end of the day, it is a very good starting point to show how much more powerful we all are, compared to how big pharma and the crony governments want us to think. But after that, jump to the above real experts and have your mind opened.

The cream of the crop. Watch it first, second or last (or first AND last to really help it all sink in):

Additional video added 12/05/22 - This video is a bit of a testament to RFK Jr, who does believe in the virus/germ theory, though he comes across very open minded. I've added it because I greatly respect him despite our slight dis-agreeance but also because Dr Bailey also discusses a few anecdotes of health freedom individuals attempting to discredit her and others but then having no basis for doing so:

UPDATE/EDIT 23/05/22:
Recently I've been sick, which has made me once again question my own thoughts on this whole matter.
I've re-read over everything I've typed and I still feel I've not said anything contradictory as such. I still believe germs are not the nasty villians they are made out to be and this explains why masks and lockdown measures do not work to 'stop the spread' but in many ways can be more harmful to peoples well being.
But here's where my dilemma is - just because germs are not the cause of the 'spread' it doesn't mean we aren't spreading something. One of the Tom Cowan videos discusses briefly a possibly alternative communication means which doesn't require germs. I know spread of some sort must occur based on my recent illness experience, which I'll detail now:
My wife fell ill with body aches across her entire body and what she described as a possible migraine. This began on 07/05/22. It didn't seem like anything ordinarily contagious. And due to the pain she was in, I ended up booking her an acupuncture appointment on 12/05/22. Later that night (and in particular on 13/05 and 14/05) I became bed-ridden and my two sons were also ill, one of them throwing up on one of the days (I felt like I was going to throw up at one point in particular for a couple of hours but never did - and I also felt queasy for a good week or so later.
Now, I wasn't expecting to fall ill at all. It was my belief that what my wife was going through was something very out of the ordinary and potentially related to her period, which also fell at the same time for her. But then this thing hit me as well. I was feeling pain intermittently all over the body. There was times I was trying to sleep and I could feel this throbbing sensation in my toes for example. The pain never seemed to be constant, all over and the same time, it would move from one location to another, although the majority of it was in my gut. My best explanation is some kind of inflammation throughout the body. Not sure why. Not sure what caused it. Not sure what cleansing mechanism our bodies were going through but to me it came totally out of the blue.
I ended up asking around on FB if anybody else had had similar symptoms and it turns out a few people had. Not a lot but nonetheless a few.
So I'm left wondering what has triggered it - a dis-ease which I didn't even know was circulating, so there was no fear as such creating the illness in my body. Many people said it was Covid... Both my wife and I ended up doing rapid tests just to see what the results were. My wife had 2x negative and I had 2x negative - which in itself only creates more questions for me - as I know the "tests" are garbage.... but at the same time, they are identifying something... Something which was not present in either of us during our illness...
Anyway, that's where I'm at with this. Still sure germs don't cause dis-ease but still none the wiser regarding what does and how our bodies interact.

UPDATE RELEVANT TO THE ABOVE UPDATE (07/09/22):
The below video is another brilliant one and it specifically discusses potential role of bio-magnetics, empathy, and nocebo. It also explains why Man-Flu is more severe than Woman-Flu, although they don't actually say that but I put two and two together myself when they talk about menstrual cycles. Bruce Lipton and Rupert Sheldrakes work is also mentioned... Actually listening to Steve talk... he really reminds me of me!:
https://www.bitchute.com/video/q4qWflPrQlfx/

So here is where I am at now - the conclusion if you will (updated hopefully the last time on 20/09/22):
I do believe contagion is real. I believe it's the spread of toxins being released from the body (through urination, sweat, exhalation, sneezing/boogers, feces, vomit & shedding of hair and skin cells) which contributes towards the spread of illness. So someone coughing on you can still result in your body receiving something it needs to purge (in this case toxic gases in minor quantities), however it is not the germs themselves which your body needs to reject. Yes, the germs are involved in creating the toxic gases, etc. but that's because they are recyclers ie. their role is to help break down and eliminate the dead cells and poisons in your body. They are doing a GOOD job!! Without them, we'd be dead in a matter of minutes from the moment we're born. But blaming the germs for doing their job is not the answer.
Why does your terrain break down so much and require germs to work so hard, that's the question? One reason is because in some places people are living on top of each other, so yes, social distancing (to a small degree) is probably a good thing. Staying away from people when you are sick is probably a good thing. But you know what. Not eating processed food, not using Wi-Fi or 4G/5G, etc. and not going to work for more than 30 hours a week would be of even greater benefit. These things cause cell death but are ignored and considered acceptable or even necessary. This is the core reason why Germ Theory is utter nonsense!

Reminder - don't forget the cream of the crop to end germ theory once and for all. If you haven't watched it yet, watch it now! If you watched it before, watch it again!

Although we don’t see Tom Cowan or The Bailey’s in this discussion (both are mentioned though), this actually is a very good discussion. I had never heard of Alec Zeck or Ben Tapper prior to this (although it turns out I had seen one video of Ben Tapper a few years back, the one which airs on this episode). Both are phenomenal additions to the ‘no proof of virus’ movement. One thing which frustrates me only a teeny bit at the end is that Del leaves off saying something along the lines of “what …

Come now, Agent 565, am I supposed to obediently kowtow to your ideology just because you spit the dummy, take your bat and ball and run home to B'nai B'rith, the "Anti Defamation League" or whatever.

On the scientism level, why should I think that a single wave of light can photograph an electron any more than a Hadron Collider can reveal a "God Particle" or that ephemeral "gravity waves" can detect a collision of non-existent Black Holes?

Geoff seems to think that you're a "Christian philosopher" but, going on what you proclaimed above, you're no more Christian than the Judaisers that Paul (was Saul) complained about. Perhaps you hope that I'll be so distraught at your whining condemnation that I'll go and slash my wrists.

Orrite, Geoff, let's see if you are a precious snowflake that melts into tears and tantrums when a curmudgeon (as in a grumpy old man) dares to disagree with you (or call you a drongo,etc.).

You seem to regard yourself as something of a "philosopher", or as having some tutored expertise in that regard, and in psychology as it relates to "religious" belief. I put "philosopher" in parentheses because, these days, "philosophy" is merely the proposal of ideas or ideology detached from the rules of logic. I put "religious" in parentheses because it is contemporarily assumed to be just an irrational comfort idea.

Logic is not synonymous with reason. Logic is the scientific rules to constrain reason to reality. Reason, by itself, can start from any assumed premise and proceed by faulty method to any desired conclusion. Logic requires sure and certain (commonsense) premises and a method subservient to the Law of Non Contradiction. This bod, McCloskey, has written a whole book on the science and art of logic. It's close on 300 pages bursting with tedious examples but he apparently doesn't want you to get away with the wrong idea. I haven't tried this link for years but I hope it still works:

https://www.scribd.com/doc/248825418/Patrick-W-McC…

I know about Anth-one-y Flew over the Cuckoo's nest. I bought one of his books 40 odd years ago called "A History of Western Philosophy" (it's still around here somewhere as it's not one I lent out to disappearance). I breezed through it when I got it looking for the bits that particularly interested me at the time and I quickly came to the conclusion that "this bod is not talking about philosophy, he's flogging an ideology" and I still have no intention of reading the whole blardy thing. It's reported that he secretly became a Catholic towards the end of his life.

Anyhow, Geoffy, I didn't deliberately derail the thread. I was following leads. Ultimately, anyone who can believe that Nothing is turning itself into Everything should not be surprised if Caesar ("government") presents itself as the arbiter of all that's good and true. That's what it has to do with "the covid debate".

Oldavid, you have done and said everything but call me a liar. Firstly you said that electrons can not be seen under a microscope. Here's a link https://phys.org/news/2008-02-electron.html to prove you wrong. You really need to update your understanding of Quantum Physics and stop being so petrified of something that equates to the mechanics and nature of God. I know that the "milk of the word" is comfortable, snug and safe....for cowards like you maybe, but some of us are called not to leave it behind but to proceed onwards to the deep rich spiritual meat. Oooops, your probably a vegan too. If you want the perfect Quantum Physical model for the God Head look no further than the Atom. You have the electron as the negative charged particle. It's opposite is the positively charged proton. These are opposites. Male and Female? Mother and Father? Although protons are present in the nucleus of the atom it can't come forward as the neutron until the union of the proton and electron. Study the orbits of the electron. When this union takes place the Neutron, the Son, is brought forward as the harmony and balance of the building block of the all creation. My only mistake was inadequately explain the "observer effect' of the electron. I still stand by it. At the moment I still can't locate the scientific discussion link that explains it better than I ever could. It's a piece of spiritual scientific mastery. I did make mention of the Book of Enoch a few days back. Unfortunately this book has been misused and misquoted by the New Age industry which inturn chased away the milk of the word christians. The Book is quoted by Jude, the half brother of Jesus in the NT and also quoted by Sha'ul of Tarsus in the book of Hebrews. It was once up for inclusion in the bible canon but was omitted by the church forfathers for containing too much knowlege of the angels. It's also currently included in the Ethiopian Orthodox bible cannon. Enoch tells us of the myriad of angels that keep the cosmos functioning by maintaining the orbits of the planets, by reigniting the Sun on a constant 24/7 basis, bringing forth new stars and reprimanding them for not coming forth at their proper time, and so on and so on. They are also constantly at war with the fallen angels who left their first estate by changing their molecular structure appearing as human and having sexual union with the daughters of men which resulted in the Nephilim. Electron filmed for first time ever

Now it is possible to see a movie of an electron. The movie shows how an electron rides on a light wave after just having been pulled away from an atom. This is the first time an electron has ever been filmed, and the results are presented in the latest issue of Physical Review Letters.

Atheistic Materialism has been desperately and relentlessly flogging the notion that life and "consciousness" are spontaneously produced out of randomly jiggling atoms and molecules. The stupid idea has to be continuously and pervasively proclaimed, implied and assumed in a monstrous brainwashing/marketing campaign because commonsense and observation (reason and evidence, philosophy and physics) of even the most unsophisticated mind can see that it's impossible.

The immaterial "thing" or "stuff" we call life must be present to order the physics and chemistry of a live organism in ways that cannot, do not, occur outside of a live organism, and that life only comes from an anterior life. Consider what's the difference between a freshly dead organism and a live one. It's not the chemistry... all the chemicals are still present in their proportions. A new life does not spontaneously emerge out of a corpse. Think of it another way. Epidemic stupidity assumes that if I put all the chemicals that make up a rabbit into a test tube and shake it and shoot it with sparks for long enough it'll turn into a rabbit. On the other hand, I am very confident indeed that if I put a perfectly good live rabbit into a test tube and gave it the treatment the rabbit would decay into the simplest and most stable form of all the elements that was a rabbit.

I'm not saying that the metaphysical thing we call life cannot have any influence or activity beyond the confines of the body it animates; that's a whole 'nother aspect, but I am saying that the chemistry does not, cannot create the metaphysics. I also contend that the brain does not create consciousness. The brain is just the physical organ that connects the physical world of sense and motor to the metaphysical mind. If the brain is deficient or damaged it just means that the connection is faulty.

That's enough for now. If I don't stop somewhere I could spend the rest of my life writing up a tome that delves into physics, philosophy and theology that no "enlightened" modernist gives a stuff about anyway.

My thoughts on Morphic Resonance are that it probably is happening and there's a possibility that its chromosome/gene related.

I can't recall every example that was discussed by Rupert Sheldrake but a few were people sensing when they are being watched, the mothers milk let down, even when not in the vicinity of their unhappy baby and the strangest one, which I'm sure would not have been shown to be much above chance level, was dog owners heading to the door/window when their owners were on the way home, even when the owners altered the usual times they came home. Of course, if this is a genuine thing, it throws my genes idea out the window.

You smug, smartarse, blardy drongo.

The "observer effect" is nothing like what you suggest. It has to do with the human propensity to interpret what you see according to what you want to see. An electron microscope can't "see" an electron. An electron is not a visible thing... it is a property or propensity that is described as being more likely evident in some "energy states" than in others but has no physical presence in what we know as space or time. That's the guts of ephemeral "quantum mechanics"... "stuff" is properties that present to us stuck in time and space which we can identify and deal with.

The admonition that "if you had Faith the size of a mustard seed" is not about you, by your power, being able to move mountains but it is about apparently insurmountable obstacles being overcome by, shall we say, Providence and good will.

"Did the disciples lose their collective memory of knowing the creative process"?? Did they ever have such an absurd notion??? Methinks Laolen565 is revealing its ideological roots.

...continued. eg.." “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Was Jesus pissed off because his disciples had moved outside the "morphic field" of knowing the mountain was not really there in the first place?... within the parable. There is a group of pine trees around the corner from where I live. Every day I wake up and walk around the corner and I expect to see them. Are they really only there because I expect them to be there? In physics there is the "observer effect" or something like that, when studying electrons under a microscope. When the observer looks away from the electrons they seem to disassemble. The observer looks back again and they reassemble or reappear. Anyway, did the disciples lose their collective memory of knowing the creative process. The context of the scripture was the disciples lack of faith in not being able to cast out the demon of a possessed individual and Jesus having to step in and fix it. But the parable goes far beyond that. Are you still there Oldavid? Lol!!

I can roughly understand "quantum physics" as being a realm of (consistent) physical reality that does not operate according to the observable principles of "macro physics" as described by the physical "laws of thermodynamics" for example. However, there is nothing in quantum physics that I know of which could render macro physics irrelevant or inconsequential.

"Morphic resonance", on the other hand, seems to be an entirely undefined speculation that does not admit any methodological (scientific) evaluation.

I do not intend to get involved in the germ vs terrain argument as I'm not qualified; both versions of the nature and cause of disease seem to have some practically verifiable aspects to them along with a good plastering with speculation. I haven't listened to all the lectures/deliveries proposed in the above story but I did get to the end of Tom Cowan's speech and it's his speculations that seem to be reflected in many of the comments subsequent; that is, the notion that thoughts and beliefs can "create and influence" the World. The inference being that reality is created and directed by "thoughts and beliefs" of a sentience that comes from nowhere (and is, presumably, an occult prerogative of certain illuminati). I contend that is irrational, absurd, self contradictory and designed to appeal to a certain kind of narcissistic autonomy.

Now then. Leni, I'm not familiar with "The Jesus Storybook Bible" particularly, but I have seen many of those publications that effectively reduce Christianity to a mushy make-believe of a similar genre as Popeye, Daffy Duck, Superman and the like. Obviously, I don't know how old or astute your son is but I suggest that you inform yourself with a reasonable portrayal of Christianity before you choose what to feed your precious son. I recommend for anyone who has an aversion to Apostolic Christianity an introductory, perfunctory, version of Christianity that its purveyors call "Biblical". Have a flick through this lot, Leni, and I can give you lots more leads to more in depth analysis if you like.

I certainly didn't get there overnight.

It took me over a year of back and forth to come to the current stance I'm most comfortable with.

In some ways, it has entirely flipped my whole life on its head. I'm questioning now things like food. In recent months I was eating a lot of onions and garlic because "they're good for the immune system and are 'pre-biotics'". At the same time I've had recurring colds, one after the other, after the other.

What if... the reason these herbs/foods are proclaimed to be so good is simply because they suppress the symptoms we get in our cleansing process. I.e. they make you feel better temporarily but the side effect is they halt the full cleansing/detox process.

What I'm about to hypothesise will largely go over almost everyones head for the moment and that's ok. That's exactly how it was for me a year ago when I first heard "you can't catch a virus". It went over my head but I retained it for later reference.

Some aspects in terrain theory discuss micro-organisms altering their form. I.e. bacteria and fungi are the same organism, it merely changes form through pleomorphism in order to do different jobs depending on the environment. Fungi (when growing in the garden at least) thrive in an acidic terrain. If the same applies in our body, then when we are sick from acidosis, our micro-biome will morph into fungi or similar to clear away the deterioration.

Enter 'pre-biotics'. Pre-biotics are said to "feed the 'good' bacteria". The evidence of which is that there is an increase in bacteria numbers. But what if it's no increase but simply a force morphing back from fungi to bacteria in much the same way as anti-biotics may make the bacteria morph into yeast?

Geoff, bacteria can be seen by the naked eye with an optical microscope. Viruses can only be imaged using a destructive process with an electron microscope. Viruses have no metabolic process. They are not alive.

Bacteria are real and can cause infection, which can be verified by putting tissue samples under a microscope.

Let's stop using sloppy undefined language like "germs". It's meaningless.

TheRevolutiLeni
TheRevolutiLeni
8 Sep '21 13:28

"Germs" so to speak are kind of a category of all bacteria, fungi and the like.

Nobody on the planet to my knowledge says germs don't exist.

The two thought processes are:

1 - Germs cause disease, end of story. Ignore their pleomorphing abilities. Ignore the idea of "good bacteria" and "bad bacteria" ("good bacteria" is only what we can sell you, everything else seems to be "bad germs").

2 - Germs are a natural member of the breakdown/decay/compost process. They are work horses which help regulate our body and keep us alive and do not need to be feared. Though by-products of germs can sometimes be toxic, depending on the environment / terrain they are in.

In train of thought one, viruses are in the germ category, even though science says they are not alive, unlike bacteria, etc.

In train of thought two, viruses are not in the germ category because viruses are a make believe fantasy designed to scare people since people these days are less willing to die participating in world wars... Well, I through that last bit in myself :)

Winston Smith
Winston Smith
8 Sep '21 13:55

The word "germ" also has a positive spin - it means growth - ie. "to germinate" or "the germ of an idea".

TheRevolutiLeni
TheRevolutiLeni
9 Sep '21 04:39

Bacteria are real and can appear to cause infection, when the cells they are combined with are starved of nutrients and/or hit with toxins, both of which result in death of the cell regardless of presence of bacteria.

Viruses I can't convince you of either way and would prefer to leave it to the experts such as Sam Bailey and Tom Cowan to explain in the videos presented how 'proof of virus existence' is established.

I don't think there are only two sides but to keep it simple to two sides:

There are those who value truth enough to spend time seeking it and to spend time critiquing the information they are presented with.

And there are those who are addicted to entertainment sufficiently so that they do not wish to give up any of that time to seek the truth or question that which they are being told. This group take the easiest path to continue their life as they see fit and as a result are able to be lied to and deceived very easily. This is clear since the lies by the media in particular have been shown time and time again, in recent times with blatant ease.

Gullible vs not Gullible.

Religiously entrusting their life in the hands of government and media without question vs trusting their instincts and investigation.

Lazy and comfortable vs willing to go out of their comfort zone for freedom and truth.

Irresponsible and child like vs Personally responsibility minded.

I disagree. I think that many people are sceptical about the vaccine, but sufficiently trusting that they believe it won't seriously hurt them. I think this group could be very large - maybe even the majority.

Winston Smith
Winston Smith
10 Sep '21 05:15

The main reason people think that vaccines are safe is because they can't believe that both the media and government would lie in such an egregious manner. To be so distrusting of authorities would be to go against the grain of everything they've been taught since childhood.

I don't think they are especially gullible.

They think the anti-vaxxers who do research on Youtube are the gullible ones.

I think that the key characteristic of the vaccine believers, which distinguishes them from sceptics, is that they have trust in societal authority figures.

In the way they see themselves they are the opposite of gullible. They will not be sucked in by some video shown to them by a breathless anti-vaxxer. They are tough minded.

I'm just trying to present them as they see themselves.

These people are willing to jump through government imposed hoops, even if some of the hoops seem pointless, because they believe that no harm is done. It just makes life easier.

Regarding the prayer comment, if you ever have a chance to listen to Gregg Braden's 'The Lost mode of Prayer', it's not really a religious thing at all. But it delves into the ideas surrounding abilities humans have through thought processes; the idea of our thoughts and beliefs both creating and influencing the world we live in.

After hearing his podcast, I kept it in the back of my mind thereafter and was able to relate other situations to it. For example, I heard Denzel Washington at a College Graduation ceremony where he taught the students that you need to be thankful for that which is already yours in order to make it so. People (like me) grow up believing that praying to God means wishing for something you don't have but the alternative way of looking at this which Braden delves into is being thankful for something which you are about to receive.

I still don't believe there's a man in the sky (but am happy to be wrong) but I have my own ideas about God and have been learning along the way whilst teaching my oldest son things from the Jesus Storybook Bible I think it's called.

Thanks for posting this. It is very well written and presents the ideas that you're expressing clearly and eloquently.

It's good also because it give me a chance to engage in some criticism and advance a perspective which is a little different to yours, although I would say it is directly in opposition.

I firmly believe than every adult person who is sincere and willing to put in the time can become sufficiently expert in their own health issues to make decisions. Whether they make the right or wrong decisions is a question which will be answered differently depending on one's beliefs and biases.

The question of whether people should be compelled to follow a certain path because a powerful social class orders them to, is a different matter, which requires deep contemplation, because it spells the difference between personal autonomy and slavery.

The reason usually given for such bullying by powerful interest groups is that they are in possession of "the truth", and if you oppose their ideas then you are "wrong and deluded". It is thus for your own good that they take over your life and push you in the "right" direction. The certainty they are right is compounded by the "greater good" principle, which is that the entire society is impacted by an individual's decisions. For them, it is a moral responsibility to follow their truth, not just for you, but for the entire society in which you function as a small cog in a wheel.

Thinking about what I said above, you can see why adherents of this totalitarian philosophy regard speech which goes against their orthodox truth as dangerous. They believe that unvaccinated people are a threat to society because they can transmit disease, but they also believe that those who spread heretical filth such as anti-vaxxer ideas also pose a threat, possibly even a worse threat, because ideas can be contagious.

So we constantly find ourselves engaged in 2 different battles. One is the battle to communicate our ideas and research about health and have such ideas accepted as valid. The other is the battle to even have the right to say things which go against the orthodox dogma of powerful institutions.

These are different struggles, but they overlap, because, without the right to speak, your ideas will never be heard.

I believe that the crucial struggle now is the one about freedom. It's about the right for us to have different views and to accept that there are different approaches to life's challenges.

My personal perspective on vaccines is that I don't wish to ever take a vaccine, of any kind, ever again. I'm confident in that position. My whole life has demonstrated to me that this is the right path for me.

My personal perspective on contagious disease is that the terrain is more significant than the germ, but I'm not ideologically attached to that position. I'm willing to adapt my view to evidence. So far, in my life I have not come across enough evidence to dissuade me from my position. I do believe there are exceptions, but they are rare. I believe that a healthy lifestye builds a strong immune system, which is your best defense against any contagious pathogen. I do believe that contagious pathogens exist, I just think they are overrated in terms of the overall part they play in illness.

I don't need other people to follow my way of thinking. All I need is for people to accept my autonomy and my choices. For some people, the germ theory may be a better match for their life experience. Good luck to them! We can co-exist!

What I do not accept is coercion from ideological zealots to change my path. I do not accept their deceitful moral grandstanding about how it's my duty to follow their truth and their path. When they do that, they overstep the line, and reveal themselves to be malevolent and power hungry, with an agenda to dominate and make me submit. I will resist such people all the way. I will never back down.

So, this comment is not so much a criticism of your writing which I mostly agreee with, but there is also a warning to be gleaned. Don't become ideological. Accept that people can have a different perspective.

Any position which becomes rigid and ideological can ultimately become the basis for tyranny, even these great alternative models of health.

TheRevolutiLeni
TheRevolutiLeni
6 Sep '21 07:07

I 100% agree with every statement you have made Winston.

In my opinion, to expand on this topic in the manner in which Dr Lipton discusses, germs are somewhat dangerous to those who believe they are. Similarly, vaccines are somewhat helpful to those who believe they are.

Whilst I've struggled back and forth with this terrain vs germ debate for several months now, especially when my whole family falls ill at the same time, I have now come across enough explanations and theories with less holes in them to follow terrain theory much more firmly. Nonetheless, I am also 100% open to finding out I've been wrong, as I have been countless times in my life.

One example may be where I have claimed like Freedom is greater than Security, Truth is greater than Freedom... This could still be correct... Or, it's also possible that Truth and Freedom are both equally as important as each other.

I think a greater stance is to realise that being wrong isn't the end of the world. It's not that important in the grand scheme of things. Sure, there are life and death situations but the amount of emphasis I've placed on being 'right' my whole life sometimes prevents me from just living and enjoying life. And the same can be said for those who live in a bubble of extreme protection from nature. How many of us spend years on Earth without actually living?

Using your Buddhist mountain analogy; there are those who refuse to climb the mountain for fear of danger and then there are those who want to climb the mountain but are still trying to figure out the best way to do it. Ultimately, both types of people fail to ever climb the mountain of life.
